Dimitris Papazoglou is an award-winning, multidisciplinary Designer and Creative Director based in Thessaloniki, Greece. He values the deafening, yet silent power of creating bespoke solutions that balance the desire to connect on an emotional level with the absolute need for direct, strategic and effective communication. During the past 15 years he has been creating unique integrated design solutions for a diverse palette of international clients across various industries, scales and budgets.
His field of expertise encompasses creative direction, branding and identity systems, book and magazine design, illustration, typography and type design, both for print as well as digital mediums. But he also enjoys being a key player in larger creative teams, collaborating with art directors at other agencies, assisting them by adding his experience, expertise and passion as tools into their projects.
Religiously following Gropius’ manifesto, design is to him the will of an epoch translated into an optical language. One that loves the architectural non-colors (black and white), where form not only follows function, but life: by believing in beauty and intelligence equally. Where sensual purity defines and distinctively signatures the new luxury.
No wonder his favorite form is that of the spiral: not only a symbol of the dialectic process, but also of the bipolarity of infinite motion and balance, emotion and intelligence.
